Well, the yard work is coming along but still lots to do so hence the last posting for this month's stamp club projects. The projects this month are featuring the Share What You Love Suite. Each card features some of the beautiful Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. It's a "specialty" paper because it is thicker than our standard Designer Series Paper (DSP) and many of the sheets have areas where it shimmers.
Here I've added the full color spectrum of the coordinating Share What You Love Artisan Pearls, a piece of the 1/4" Velvet Rich Razzleberry Ribbon, and stamps from the Love What You Do stamp set. To make the wreath I used the Stamparatus to create a circle of leaves and what I'm calling the "Around the Clock" stamping technique.
This card features the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder, more of the stamps and DSP as well as one of the new In Colors, Grapefruit Grove.
With this final project I'll introduce my club members to a new fold that's been making it's way around the Internet - the Impossible Card Fold. The top section is made out of one piece of 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" cardstock so it will fit in a standard A2 envelope. Can you figure out how it works? I've attached it to a Thick Whisper White base for stability. I've cut in half one of the new Pearlized Doilies and added it to the background.
I've stamped the word "happy" from the Make A Difference stamp set and added another little stamp to the back from the same set. I will be posting videos for the Stamparatus wreath and the Impossible Card so come back to see how those are made.
