It's time for me to get back into the creative swing now that Christmas is behind us. I decided that before I jumped into the new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration products, I'd participate in the SU! Only Challenge. The challenge is to use circles, ovals, or squares in your project.
My card features a little bit of the bubbly with a champagne glass created using the Layering Oval Framelits. You can see from the side view that I curved the glass and stacked Stampin' Dimensionals on the back. Down the center of the glass I put two layers of Stampin' Dimmensionals, one on top of the other, and on the outer edges I only used one so that the center would pop up a little more. I did the same to the base of the glass.
The "champagne" in the glass was created by inking a clear block on a So Saffron ink pad then spritzing the block with a bit of water. I stamped the block on the oval then added the outlines and bubbles with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. The background is a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge and heat embossed in gold. The letters were stamped with the Labeler Alphabet stamp set.
Thank you, ladies, for your comments. It was fun to participate and hopefully I can continue. Happy New Year!

Super clever way to use the ovals framelit to create the glass and just perfect for our challenge. So glad you joined the fun at SUOChallenges.

Wow, how creative! I love the way you stacked those Stampin' Dimensionals to create the curvature of the glass. And using the Layering Ovals Framelits to make the champagne glass is so much fun! Thanks for sharing this with us at SUO Challenges!
