Stamping the Cape

Thank you for joining me. This is my first time with the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop. The theme this month is It's a Girl Thing. I'm mostly a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal so when I think of a "girly-girly" I think of glamorous women wearing the latest fashions and the perfect make up.

This elegant woman from the Beautiful You stamp set is what inspired me to create this sparkling dress and what better place to see her than on the streets of Paris (which seems to be a theme for me recently), as shown by the scene from the Mediterranean Moments stamp set. I used our Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers to color this scene but unfortunately, due to their overwhelming popularity, they're on backorder and unavailable until May. Instead, you could use our Watercolor Pencils or Blender Pens with an ink pad.

A Happy Birthday or Mother's Day sentiment could easily be added to the front of this card but I preferred to leave it as is and will stamp a sentiment on the inside.
