I've been making some little treats for my Take & Make customers to add to their kit as a little extra thank you. I so appreciate the support they continue to give me. This year my goal is to double my sales and I think treating your customers well is a step in the right direction.
These little mini matchboxes, which are made from Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie cardstock, are holding two Dove Dark Chocolate Pumpkins. I've used the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) to wrap the outside of the box and the pumpkins are actually cut from the DSP. There are dies that coordinate with the Pick a Pumpkin Bundle that will actually die cut the pumpkins. The little star accents are from the Regals Enamel Shapes.
These are some additional treat boxes I made for customers featuring the owl from the Spooky Cat stamp set. The owl was stamped with a Smoky Slate Classic Stampin' Pad and their hats were cut by hand from the Spooky Night DSP. The "thank you" on both boxes is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.
To make the inside or "slide" portion of the box I started with a 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock scored at 3/4" on all four sides. Fold on all the score lines. On the short ends, cut the vertical score lines up to where they meet the horizontal score line. Put adhesive on the outside tabs and attach to the center tab.
The outside or "wrap" piece is a 3-3/4" x 4" piece of Basic Black cardstock scored at 1-1/8", 1-7/8", 3", 3-3/4". Fold on the score lines, place adhesive on the 1/4" tab and attach to other end to make an open-ended square. Decorate for any theme.
I hope you'll give these a try and share them with your friends, co-workers or the little ghouls or goblins in your life!
