This is my last Christmas post for 2017. This week I had a chance to work with some of the team members from our Falmouth Rockland Trust branch. What a fun group of ladies! Thank you Becky for inviting me! All the ladies did a great job considering they had never done anything like this before. The project they selected, which was to make gift card holders from the Trim You Stocking Bundle, was a little more advanced than what beginning crafters may be used to but like I said, they were real troopers!!
This was the first stocking we made. I pre-prepped all the adhesives for them using the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets because if glue got onto the Champagne Foil, it's difficult to remove. Although, I have discovered a trick using Goo Gone that works on the foil. If you spritz a little on a paper towel - not too wet - and rub it gently on the glue, you can wipe it off with a small piece of clean paper towel. They did use Glue Dots for the Silver Glimmer Paper dots.
This jingle bell stocking idea was taken right out of the Holiday Catalog . . .
. . . and this stocking was inspired by one I saw on YouTube video.
I had purchased this bundle specifically for this event and I'm glad I did. I can see that I will be able to use it for years and years to come!
Tomorrow will be my first 2018 Occasions Catalog sneak peek. We've got lots to start us thinking about the spring. Just like Christmas, it will be here before you know it!
